On Saturday, December 23, 2017 at his home in Nanjemoy, Maryland, The Good Lord Above called forth one of his Angels to be with his loved ones, Wayne Lee Proctor, Jr., transitioned to eternal life.
On January 16, 1982 in Charles County, Maryland, Wayne was born to the late Wayne Lee Dent-Proctor, Sr. and Jean Marie Farmer. Wayne met the love of his life Diana Marie in March 1999, while working at the Wendy's in La Plata, Maryland. They officially started dating in September 2002 and later married on October 15, 2004. Together Wayne and Diana raised six beautiful children. Wayne was a devoted husband and father; he loved his family dearly and took precious care of them.
Wayne was educated in Charles County Public Schools; he attended Henry E. Lackey High School. In 2012, Wayne received his Class A Commercial Driver's License Certification from College of Southern Maryland. Wayne was employed with Flippo Construction Company at the time of his death.
Wayne was a Husband, Father, Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle. Cousin, Nephew and a Friend; he was a family man who enjoyed everyone. Wayne enjoyed watching football games, he was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan. Wayne enjoyed racecars, the race track, and fishing. He loved spending quality time with his boys, they would box, ride dirt bikes and four-wheelers together. He enjoyed teaching them different handy trades and having conversations about life in general. Wayne enjoyed making people laugh; he was a natural comedian. He enjoyed helping family and friends. He most of all loved being out and about with his wife, children, family and friends taking rode trips, going to beaches and out of town. He will be remembered by his sayings, "Ain't Worried Bout Nothing," "Stay in your Lane," and "Get Right or Get Left."
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Lee Proctor, Sr., his grandfathers Johnny Proctor and Thomas A. Farmer, Sr., a sister Regina Marie Proctor and seven Uncles, James Dent, Sherman Proctor, James Proctor, Sr., Neil Proctor, James Raymond Farmer, George Hicks, and Elliot Samuel.
Wayne leaves to cherish loving memories to his mother Jean Marie Farmer; the love of his life, Diana Marie Proctor (wife); his children Kayla, Jahaad, Rashaad, Raheem, Jaheem, and Kareem, his sisters Lakisha (Darrell) Dent- Andrews, Pamela (Kyro) Savoy, and Chajuanette; his sister-n-laws, Gwendolyn Carroll and Nichelle Harvey; brother-n-laws Mohammad (Tara) El'Rasheed, William (Theresa) Peterson, and Renny Harvey, Jr.; his grandmothers Mary Regina Farmer and Margaret Dent-Baltimore; his mother-n-law, Rose Carroll; his father-n-law Renny Harvey, Sr.; a special niece Kylis Savoy; his Godchildren Jasmine Ford, De'Shelle Proctor, MaCoreya "Lovely" Gray, James E. Wills, Jr. and Kyro Cameron Savoy; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Mr. Proctor's Viewing will be 9:00 am, until Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am, Monday, January 8, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, Maryland.
Interment, Heritage Memorial Cemetery, 13472 Poplar Hill Road, Waldorf, Maryland.
