Wallace Lewis (Age 62) of Clinton, Maryland.

To God Be the Glory

In the early morning of Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at his home in Clinton, Maryland, Wallace Lewis was called home to Glory. Wallace was born, September 5, 1954 to Wilfred Johnson and Rose Mae (Lewis) Bunch who both preceded him in death.

At a young age, Wallace moved to Washington, DC where he was educated in the District of Columbia Public School system and graduated from Eastern Senior High School. He landed his first job as a Building Engineer with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing Office. He continued his career with J & J Maintenance, Walter Reed Medical Center and was currently working as an Engineer Contractor at the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority (WMATA) under LB & B Associates.

Wallace was a loving husband, dedicated father and a caring grandfather. His favorite past time was photography. He would get up early in the morning to walk through the downtown DC area to
take photos of various monuments, capturing the fall colors the leaves would turn. He was our designated photographer at all family gatherings including weddings and he was always conducting a photo shoot.

Wallace leaves to carry on his legacy his loving wife, Karen Lewis; one sister, Nicole Bunch; his second father, Joseph Bunch; two brothers-in-law,Keith L. Hudson Sr. (Angie) and Frank (Paul) Hudson (Leslie, one sister-in-law, Jaynada Hudson; eleven children, Cornell Lewis, Tina Robinson-Kandall, Claude Tompkins, Dawn Hopkins, April Lewis-Rice, Byronica Quarles, Paula Robinson, Brittany Robinson, Ashley Robinson, Jordan Robinson and LaToya Robinson; twenty two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one niece, Kyia Parker; six aunts, Cecilia Goodwins, Trannie Williams, Winnie McCallin, Dorothy Brickhouse, Frances Lewis and Margaret Rush; one uncle, Gerame Johnson.

Viewing, Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 9 a.m. until time of Service, 11 a.m. at Victory Christian Ministries International Waldorf Campus, 4415 Crain Highway, White Plains, Maryland 20695.
