Velma Valerie Thrasher, Age 58 of Herndon, Virginia
Velma V. Thrasher peacefully entered eternal rest on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Envoy Healthcare Center, Woodbridge, Virginia. She was born to the late Elizabeth Thrasher on August 27, 1957 in Marion County, Florida.
Velma was disabled her entire life. She lived with her mother Elizabeth until her mother passed away in 1991. Velma moved to Virginia in 2001 and lived with her brother Roger. Velma was a very quiet person and had a sweet soul. She enjoyed small family gatherings. She would sometimes attend church services with her sister-in-law, Renee.
Velma leaves to cherish fond memories two loving brothers, Roger Thrasher (Renee)and Clarence Thrasher (Jean) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
God saw the road was getting rough, hills were hard to climb
He gently closed your tired eyes and whispered "Peace be Thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
