GRAY, TERI MARIE (Brown) (Age 46) of Petersburg, Virginia,

Teri, a devoted wife and mother, unexpectedly departed this life on November 6, 2019 in Petersburg, Virginia.

Teri was born in Washington, D. C. and after graduating from Roper Junior High School in Washington, D.C., she later married the love of her life, Darrell Gray, and they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Brianna.  Teri and her family relocated to Petersburg, Virginia in an effort to seek a new beginning.

Teri was a wonderful cook, and her greatest passion in recent years was cooking, eating great food, especially seafood and posting on Facebook the beautiful and appetizing dishes that she prepared.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Willie H. Brown, biological father, Tyrone Arnette, sister-in-law, Vernette Floyd, and brother-law, Harold Gray.  Left to cherish many precious memories is her loving husband, Darrell, adoring daughters, Brianna and Cheryl, sons, Tarsus and Brian, mother, Elsie Brown, brothers, Willie R. Brown (Cynthia), Robert M. Brown (Marilyn) and Marcus Brown, sisters, Sherry Washington, Jacqueline Washington and Gloria B. Winfree (Cornelius), mother-in-law, Laverne Gray, brothers-in-law, Gary (Clarice), Vernon, Thomas and Timothy Gray, sister-in-law, Janice Gray, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends, and a special friend, India Patterson.
