Obituary

Terrence Edward Pace (Age 67) of Oxon Hill, Maryland

On Saturday, February 25, 2017, Terrence Edward Pace slipped into an eternal rest to see the face of God. Terrence was born to Shirley and Nathaniel Deal on April 13, 1949. Shortly after high school Terrence changed his name legally from Terrence Nathaniel Deal to take the name of the only father he ever knew. Terrence is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Louise Pace.

A native of Washington, D.C., Terrence attended Riverside Baptist Church as a child and later on in life was a member of Covenant Baptist Church. As a young man, he attended Kenilworth and Carver Elementary Schools, Carter G. Woodson Junior High and Eastern High School. After high school, Terrence went on to graduate from Tesst College in August 1973.

Terrence married Susan Louise Locke on June 2, 1968. They had one daughter, Lisa Louise Pace.

After graduating Tesst College, Terrence went to work as a Television Repair Technician for 15 years at Woodward and Lothrop until they closed in 1988. He then went on to work as a Manager at D&D for 10 years and last worked at Comcast, first as a technician and then tech support until he retired April 30, 2016.

Terrence loved the Lord and recently rededicated his life to the Lord as a patient in the hospital. Terrence was a very strong minded person and had a zest for life. He loved playing golf and fishing. He also loved his Washington Redskins.

Terrence leaves to mourn, his wife, Susan L. Pace (Lusby, MD), one daughter, Lisa Gadson, son-in-law Jonathan, two grandsons, Terrence Gadson (Shanell) and Jonathan Gadson, Jr., a granddaughter, Andria Gadson and a great-grandson, Jayce Gadson; all of Bowie, MD. He also leaves behind, his father, Edward Pace, Sr. (Columbus, GA), two brothers, Thomas Easton (Diane), (Severn, MD), and Edward Pace, Jr. (D.C.) and sister, Darnishia Pace Geiger (Ft, Washington, MD) and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
