Star Lee Jumalon of Todd, Pennsylvania.

Star Lee Jumalon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away on June 13, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 73.

Star was born to Ralph and Mildred Pascoe on March 16th, 1950 in Washington, DC. She grew up in Marlow Heights, MD and was in the first graduating class of Potomac High School in Oxon Hill, MD in 1968. During her free time Star enjoyed the Catholic Church, gardening, knitting, classic movies, decorating, dressing up to go out, and honoring our Nation's Veterans. She always loved to be by the water, especially boating or fishing. In her retirement she enjoyed going from the shores of Brigantine Beach, New Jersey to her mountain home in Todd, Pennsylvania near Raystown Lake (Bunn Mountain).

On September 30, 2018 she married Larry (Ronnie) Jumalon and they lived happily and peacefully atop Bunn Mountain until his passing in October, 2022. Star then spent several months in Bryans Road, MD with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson until her passing.

Star was also preceded in death by her father, Ralph Pascoe, mother, Mildred Scarselli, and step-father, Thomas Scarselli.

Star is survived by her son, Michael A. Mayhew, granddaughter, Taylor Parise, daughter, Tiffanie Ruefly, son-in-law, Zachary Wilkins, grandson, Samuel Wilkins, brother, Anthony Scarselli, sister-in-law, Sharon Scarselli, niece, Kristin Scarselli, nephew, Kevin Scarselli and her two kitties, Getty and KiKi.

Friends may visit with the family, Friday, June 23, 2023 from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial, 11am at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 30 Mattingly Ave E., Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Interment, 10:30 am, Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, Maryland 20613.
