Stanley Jerome Hatton Jr., age 45, of Marbury, Maryland born May 29th, 1978, to Imogene Toyer and Stanley Hatton Sr. On April 17th 2024 the heavenly gates opened and welcomed Stanley Jerome Hatton Jr. He was affectionately known by his friends as "Oak".
Stanley was educated in Charles County Public Schools and graduated from Lackey High School in 1996. After High School he attended the Computer Learning Center. Shortly after that he pursued a career as a Certified Welder and held various other jobs throughout his life.
Stanley was a kind, caring and loving son, father, cousin and friend. Stanley had a great sense of humor; he loved to laugh as well as to make others laugh. He loved spending quality time with his family and friends.
Stanley enjoyed watching football on Sunday's with his sons. He was a die hard Philadelphia Eagles Fan. He also enjoyed attending the race track with friends.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Norena and Edward Toyer Sr.; Elizabeth Hatton(Carroll) and Lemuel Henson; Brother, Lamont Hatton; Aunt, Gail Toyer and Uncle, Ronald Toyer.
He is survived by his mother, Imogene Toyer-Tibbs( Gilbert) father Stanley Hatton Sr (Sandra); siblings Nectina Montgomery(Steven), Devarn Hatton, Ariana Carroll(Edward); Children, Shamod "Neko", Darrius and Javon Hatton. Aunts; Emma Jean Wright, Patricia Young, Loleta and Marcella Carroll. Uncles; Charles and Edward Toyer Jr, James Hatton(Shirley), Ronald(Brenda), Carlton(Barbara), David(Juelette), Marvin(Paulette), Allen(Sylvia), and Alonzo(Calathia) Carroll. Loving cousin like a brother Marcus Toyer whom he grew up with and they were inseparable. Honorary Parents Barbara "Bann" and Jarriett Washington. Devoted friends Teresa Hemsley, Percy Thompson, and Paul Gray Jr.. Devoted Companion for many years Rashawn Williams and a host of Cousins, Nieces and Nephews
Friends may visit with the family Saturday, May 4th from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am in The Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, 3439 Livingston Road Indian Head, MD 20640. Interment immediately to follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Nanjemoy, MD.
