Braddy, Shadaya Nelda (Age 4) of Durham, North Carolina
Shadaya Nelda Braddy departed this plane on December 30, 2011.
Shadaya (Strawberry Shortcake to her grandmother) was born in Washington DC to Shelly Braddy and David Taylor.
She attended North Carolina Central Child development center where she will be dearly missed by her classmates and teacher Bridgette Kemp. Shadaya was well known on the North Carolina Central University Campus, where she was referred to as the Little Princess by many especially her 2 fairy god sisters Marcie and Deanna whom she frequently mentioned.
Shadaya was very bright, inquisitive and somewhat the talker! During her four short years here on Earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends, especially Aunt Pam. She will be looking down on all of us from heaven with her smile and expecting us to live with the same love in our hearts for God and each other as she has. Her life was a gift of love to us.
Shadaya is preceded in death by her grandmother Nelda Braddy. She is survived by her parents, Shelly Braddy and David Taylor; grandmother Carolyn Taylor, and her brother Sequan Braddy. Her extended family includes aunts and uncles –Tameka, Kelly, Kendra, James Jr., David, and Dwight Braddy; Jeanella, Lashawn, Kai Lorraine, Cassandra, William, Eric, and Donte Taylor and a host of cousins, great aunts and uncles.
