IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Saul Joseph
Kittrell
August 29, 1976 – January 8, 2018
Saul Joseph Kittrell Jr. was born, Sunday, August 29, 1976 to Juanita A. Gough and Saul Joseph Kittrell, Sr. at Prince Georges County Hospital in Cheverly Maryland.
Saul, affectionately known by family and friends as "Boobie" peacefully transitioned from this earthly life to life eternal, on Monday, January 8, 2018 at his home in Nanjemoy, Maryland.
Saul was educated in the Charles County public school system. When he was in elementary school, he attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pomfret, Maryland, where he served as an alter boy. He often talked about how he enjoyed serving with the priest.
At the age of 12, Saul started cutting his hair and found that he had an interest in barbering. He liked how he could cut designs and names in his hair, so over the years, as his interest grew he decided to go to barber school. Saul earned a certificate of completion in June of 2006 at Figs Barber Training Center on Central Avenue in Capitol Heights, Maryland.
Saul worked for several barber shops over the years, but he made Old Century Barbers in Waldorf, Maryland his home. He worked at Old Century Barber Shop until he was injured in a dirt bike accident in May of 2015 that left him disabled. However, he was slowly gaining his strength back.
As a young boy, Saul always enjoyed riding dirt bikes. As he got older his interest changed to riding motorcycles, but he always kept the dirt bikes close. He liked spending time with his family and friends and he was very passionate about the times he shared with his daughter, Keira, video chatting with her on face book. Saul was a very kind hearted man that would put the needs someone else before his own. He had a close relationship with his mother, whom he loved very much, she was his everything.
Saul was preceded in death by his father, Saul Jospeh Kittrell, Sr.; grandparents, Mary M. Johnson Gough, William Thomas Gough and Anna Mae Hill, aunts and uncles.
He leaves to cherish his many memories, his mother, Juanita A. Gough; daugher, Keria M. Kittrell; sister, Tasha Kittrell; brother, Deon Kittrell; niece, Jaelyn Kittrell; three aunts, Clara Miley, Doris Johnson and Mary Ann Johnson; three uncles, Clyde Hill, Joseph B. Johnson Sr. and Leonard Miley; great aunt, Lucy Mae Taylor; a host of cousins, other relatives, friends as well as a very influential father figure, Darryl Kirkwood and a very special friend, Jessica L. Ward.
Son, it broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
