Simmons, Sam (Age 71) of Fort Washington, Maryland.
Peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2014, Sam Simmons transitioned to eternal life.
The Beloved husband of Cynthia M. Simmons; Devoted father of Kimberly Mc Cormick (Michael); Also surviving are two granddaughters, Dymond and Kylah; mother, Rebecca Simmons King; one sister, Earthalee Williams, three brothers, Frank Simmons, Jr. (Mary Ann), Lewis Simmons and Elijah Simmons (Helen); one aunt, Carrie Bell Smith; brother-in-law, Lawrence Wilkerson (Vickie), sister-in-law, Marie Simmons and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing, 9am until time of Service, 11am, Friday, January 10, 2014 at Springfield Baptist Church, 508 P Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
Interment, Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Maryland.
