Nolte, Ruby Faye (Age 68) of Waldorf, Maryland formerly of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Obituary
Ruby Faye Nolte, 68, of Fredericksburg, VA departed this
life on Monday, September 16, 2013, after a lengthy
struggle due to liver failure.
Ruby Faye Nolte was born on January 6, 1945 in Dallas,
TX. She graduated from Lincoln High School in San
Diego, CA in 1962. Ruby was a life time member of the VFW
Post 5179 and American Legion Unit #0310 both located in San
Diego, CA. Ruby worked for the public school systems all of
her adult life and most recently worked for Prince William
County Public Schools, where she retired from Freedom High
School in 2012. After retirement, she volunteered at Mary
Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital.
Ruby's mission was making sure she enjoyed her life to the
fullest. Ruby loved dancing, traveling, socializing, shoe
shopping and sewing. In her spare time, Ruby watched British
soap operas, Hoarders, and putting puzzles together. Ruby also
loved to organize and clean, so it's no wonder that one of her
proudest moments in life was when she opened her cleaning
business Silverfox Cleaning Service, Woodbridge, VA.
Ruby knew that one of the keys to life was personal
happiness, so when imparting advice on those around her,
she would often say "do what makes YOU happy."
Ruby gave birth to four beautiful children: Tra-Viecia
Millay Nolte, of San Diego, CA; Badise La-Toye Nolte of
Waldorf, MD; James Nolte II (deceased) and Porter Lee
Wilson Greer, Jr. of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by
seven grandchildren: Kanesha Glover-Robinson, Danté Moore,
Terrence White, Delano Greer, Denese Greer, Monique Greer,
and Aisha Greer and nine great-grandchildren: Tajaé, Kayla,
Joi, Andre, Keon, Zionáh, Leviticus, Diare, and Damia; one
son-in-law: Eugene Smith; one grand daughter-in-law: Pennie
Moore; and a host of other family and friends.
"You rose into my life like a promised sunrise, brightening
my days with the light in your eyes. I've never been so
strong. Now I'm where I belong"
