Rose Merzulie Saint Fleur, 105, of Indian Head, Maryland.

Rose Merzulie St. Fleur also known as Tante Zoule was born on 6/18/1919 to Joseph Henriquez Saint Fleur and Elicia Vincent (Madame Henriquez) in Port De Paix Haiti.  She was 1 of 7 children, having 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Rose transitioned peacefully on 01/31/2025 in Indian Head, MD.  Her life circumstances molded her to be courageous, resilient, caring, independent and confident. She was an entrepreneur and specialized in Farming and Textiles.  She found enjoyment in the Catholic Church, sewing, cooking, gardening, taking care of her family, and helping her neighbors. She raised 7 children, and they had the most influence on her life. Watching her 3 surviving children, Leonard, Frito and Jorasse go on to have successful lives and create beautiful families made her the proudest. With 20 grandchildren, over 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, Rose will be remembered as a strong mother and a proud grandmother. In her 1989 Rose moved to the United States of America to be with her children. She found joy in watching tv shows like The Price is right and helping her daughter in law with her granddaughters and small things around the house. For as long as she could, she remained strong, active and independent. Rose was a strong pillar in her walking life, she inspired those who came after her to be the same. She will be deeply missed by those who love her, but her legacy will carry on for generations to come.

Rose Mezurlie is survived by her two sons Jorasse Gustave and Frito Saint Fleur. Her two daughters in law Marie Michel and Marie Carole. Her grandchildren Sonel, Ruth, Wisler, Marnelle, Calex, Marie Katie, Gie Jose, Odalbert, Edith, Malik, Martine, Rose Anne, Patrick, Manone, Reginal, Joey, Jason, Abigail and two great grandchildren.
