Ronnie Earl Pringle, 71, Oxon Hill, Maryland.
On May 12, 1951, Ronnie Earl Pringle was born in Anderson, South Carolina to Willie Earl and Johnnye Mae Pringle. He was also known as "Ronnie P.," "El-Ron," and "Slim."
As a young child, Ronnie was baptized at the New Hopewell Baptist Church in Anderson, South Carolina and attended Anderson County public schools. The family eventually moved to Washington, D.C. where he graduated from the D.C. public school system.
Ronnie was employed as an MVO – Truck Driver with the National Park Service and retired after 30 plus years of service. He had a love for race cars and you could find him building his own. He was proud of his accomplishments. He also enjoyed working in his yard or fishing. Other hobbies included tending his house plants, and his many birds, dogs and huge fish tanks.
Although Ronnie had many hobbies, his greatest joy was being around his family and grandkids. Ronnie was a very private man who was loving and kind. He was laid back and non dramatic man who had a comical spirit.
On Sunday, October 23, 2022, Ronnie Earl Pringle transitioned to eternal life.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by grandparents: John Owens, Grady Mattison, Lizzie May Hayes and John Pringle, sisters: Willie Jean Washington and brother: Freddie Pringle.
Ronnie is survived by his life partner Tamey Peyton, daughter : Adrienne Marie Robinson, stepson: James Peyton, Conde-Irizarry and stepdaughter Toi Proctor, granddaughters: Taylor Robinson, Karington Robinson and stepgrandaughter Talaija Peyton, step grandson: Kymire Peyton, great grandchildren: Tyonnia, James Jr., Deshawn, Jazz and Javion, sisters: Susie Hendricks, and Janice Pringle, great aunt: Onrie Mattison who shared in raising him, brothers-in-law: Leon Hendricks, Sr. and Lawrence Motley, great uncle: Andrew Mattison, Sr., nieces and nephews, Tonia Moore, Lisa Motley, Tisa Dockery, Leon Hendricks, Jr. and Tremayne Hendricks, ex-wife who remained friends Helen Pringle, many cousins and host of friends and relatives.
Viewing, Saturday, October 29, 2022, 1:00 p.m., until time of Service, 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, MD 20640.
