Obituary

Jackson, Ronald Boyd Sr. (Age 74) of Waldorf, Maryland

Ronald Boyd Jackson, Sr., also known as "Jack," "King Willie," and "Mr. Big Guy" was born on May 19, 1948, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late William Jackson and the late Mary Elizabeth (Booker) Jackson.

Ronald received his education in the D.C. Public School System. He entered the D.C. Government as a truck driver, primarily working for the District of Columbia Public Schools, where he worked until he retired over 41 years later.

Ronald was passionate about keeping his cars clean. He loved his candy apple Red 1996 Cadillac DeVille Sedan. He found enjoyment in cooking, smooth jazz music, boxing, bowling, fishing, dancing being the life of the party, watching Western television shows, and his favorite football team, the "Dallas Cowboys."

Ronald loved his family. He enjoyed family events, celebrations and relaxing with a tall glass of sweet iced tea. He will be truly missed, especially during family functions and holidays such as Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.

Ronald had an outgoing personality, a sense of humor, and he would trash talk with anyone who was around. His huge heart and loving spirit allowed him to affect many lives. We will hold on to the memories and many laughs that we shared.

On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, Ronald peacefully transitioned to eternal life, at the Complete Care at LaPlata Nursing Center in LaPlata, Maryland.
