Gilbert, Rodney (Age 57) of Fort Washington, Maryland.
Peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Rodney Gilbert transitioned to eternal life.
Son of Gwendolyn M. Covington and the late John W. Gilbert, Sr.; Also surviving are siblings, John W. Gilbert, Jr., Barbara Hall, Orlando and Yolanda Covington; three nieces, five nephews, two great nieces, five great nephews, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Grace United Methodist Church, 11700 Old Fort Road, Fort Washington, Maryland 20744 and on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 10 a.m. until time of Service, 11 a.m.
Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735.
