Penny, Robert Louis Sr. (Age 86) of Pomfret, Maryland.

On Sunday, December 21, 2014 at his home and surrounded by his loving family, Robert Louis Penny, Sr. more affectionately known as "Boogie" transitioned to eternal life.

Son of the late Robert Neale and the late Aline Hackerson and step-father, the late Joseph Hackerson.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, two sons, Robert Jr. (Diane) and Pedro Penny; one step-son, Zackary Mark Thompson, Sr. (Jackie); grandchildren, Taenika S., Kayla, Precious and Jaelyn Penny, Arnie, Joseph, Ebony, Zackary Jr., and Kristin Thompson, Deshaun Farmer; one great granddaughter, Monroe Willis; three sisters, Irma Proctor, Marion Aleshire and Patricia Wheeler (Floyd); one brother, Melvin Hackerson (Patricia).

Viewing, 11am until time of Service, 12 noon, Monday, December 29, 2014 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery, Glymont, Maryland.
