Gutrick, Robert Donald "Casey" (Age 65) of Nanjemoy, Maryland.

On Monday, September 3, 2012, Robert Donald Gutrick of Nanjemoy, Maryland departed this life at Forestville Rehabilitation Center, Forestville, Maryland.

Robert was born on May 18, 1947 to Hazel Gutrick and the late Ben Gutrick.

Robert was baptized at an early age at the Mount Hope Baptist Church, Nanjemoy, Maryland and was a member of the Male Chorus.

He received his education in the Charles County Public School System. He served in the United States Army for six years and worked for the Smithsonian Museum and the Park Service. Robert retired from Walmart. He enjoyed reading the bible, Christian literature and Christian books. In addition, he enjoyed watching movies and talking on his Citizens' Band (CB) Radio. His handle was "Blood Hound".

In addition to his father, Ben Gutrick, Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Washington.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother, Hazel Gutrick; seven sisters, Annie Warren, Alberta Branson, Pearl Smith, Shirley Lewis, Betty Ross, Geraldine Ward and Vyria M. Cobey; two brothers-in-law, Nathaniel Warren and James Cobey; best friends, Edward Jackson and Frances Burns and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Interment, Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland.
