Robert graduated from Lackey High School in 1982. He loved Street Outlaws (racing show), Western movies, Oldies music, telling jokes and giving his brother Sterling a hard time. Robert or (BOB) as many people called him, could make you laugh at any given time. He could be the life of the party.  He loved his wife Wanda, who he missed terribly and loved his grandkids.

Robert Lamont Branson of Marbury Maryland passed away peacefully on November 29th, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Branson, mother Mary R. Collins and father Norwood Collins, grandson William B. Wesley IV, sister Janelle Reeves and brother-in-law, Louis Jerome Reeves.

He leaves to cherish his memory, (son) Terrod Branson, 2 daughters, Tierra Branson and Terese Branson. 3 grandkids, Taniah, Aubrey and Alex Green Jr, brothers Sterling Branson, Corey Price and special bond sister Gwendolyn Barksdale Barnett.

Friends may visit with the family Friday, December 15th in The Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, 3439 Livingston Road Indian Head, MD 20640 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment immediately to follow at St. Charles Cemetery Glymont, MD.
