Obituary

Regina Irene Muschette, age 74 of Pomfret, Maryland.

On April 27, 1942, in the town of LaPlata, Maryland, Regina Irene Woodland was born to the late Leo and the late Agnes Woodland. After meeting and marrying Martin Muschette, she would later become Mrs. Regina Muschette for 57 years. Their union brought about a loving family of whom she cherished.

Regina attended Pomonkey Elementary School. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pomfret, Maryland for more years than she was married. Regina was a kind hearted woman, who was also loving and was very respectful of others. She had a love for life and all that she did.

She was an excellent cook and worked at Marie's Diner in LaPlata. She also made sure her family was cared for as a homemaker. She believed in working hard and doing the right thing and shared that trait with her family.

Family was everything to Regina. She enjoyed family holiday dinners and family reunions. She also enjoyed taking the family trip to North Carolina. In her younger years, she coached her daughter's softball team and continued her interest in baseball with her friend, Ozzie. She looked forward to spending time with her husband, Martin, doing the things they enjoyed.

Regina had great respect for her parents and they had great influence in her life. She was always proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would want future generations of her family to remember "Back in the day how hard it was and they have it too easy!"

On Tuesday, July 5, 2016, while at the University of Maryland, Charles Regional Medical Center, Regina quietly entered into eternal rest. Her loving kindness will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Leo and Agnes, Regina was also preceded in death by her sons; James and Adrian, great grandchildren; Josette and Andrea, brothers and sisters; Frances, Richard, Vincent, Sylvia, Theresa and Elaine, and sister-in-law, Edna.
