Regina Joyce Morris (Age 36) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Regina Joyce Morris, age 36, of Upper Marlboro, MD departed this life on Thursday, October 5, 2017. She was born December 17, 1980.

As a child, she was happy and mischievous, full of fun and laughter. Her smile was infectious.  As she grew older and developed into a young lady she lived life to the fullest. She became the go-to younger sibling. She was the glue to keep the family connected. She arranged all the appointments for family photos, trips, dinners and just all around loving the family.

Regina graduated from Oxon Hill High School in 1998 where she was Captain of her JV and Varsity cheerleading squads. She received an academic scholarship to study Computer Science at Florida A&M University.  She made several life-long friendships at "FAMU" before graduating with high honors (Magna Cum Laude) in May 2002.  Regina continued her education at the University of Michigan where she completed a Master's Degree from the School of Information.  She graduated with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude) in May 2004. Regina's adventurous, risk-tasking spirit took her to Redondo Beach, California, where she was employed at Northrop Grumman Corporation for one year. After returning to the DC Metropolitan area in August 2005, she continued working with Northrop Grumman for nine additional years. She was currently employed with OGSystems for the past three years.

Regina married the love of her life, John Morris on October 6, 2007. Regina was a member of Zion church and served faithfully in Xtreme Toddler care for many years. Regina served as a Boys and Girls Club Cheerleading Coach, Girl Scout troop leader and regular volunteer at Taylor's school.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband John and daughters; Taylor Lacey and Peyton Annalise Morris. Her parents; Regenarld Joyce and Norman & Lula Edwards. Sisters; Frances Allen (Bobby), Stephanie Ferguson, Tara Edwards and brother Daryl Edwards.  Her Father-in-law; John C Morris preceded her in death. Mother-in-law; Doris Taylor; Sister-in-laws; Yavatta (Tay) Morris, Wanda Nettles (Mark), Anethea Taylor; Brother-in-laws; Austin Morris (Vicky), Phillip Hawkins, Jeris Taylor, Keith Ferguson, Sr. Nieces and Nephews; Keith, Jr. and Kanisha Ferguson, Tyrell Singleton, Deon and Laila Edwards, Sydney and Brayden Allen and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
