Randy Luvell Butler of Waldorf, MD transitioned November 22, 2025.

Randy Butler was born on November 11, 1979, at Prince George's Community Hospital, in Cheverly, MD. He peacefully transitioned on November 22, 2025 leaving behind a life marked by love, laughter and unforgettable memories.

Randy was educated in the Prince George's County Public School System and later worked as a meat cutter at Safeway, where he was known for his friendly personality and easy smile.

A true sports lover, Randy was a proud, die-hard San Francisco 49ers fan and also cheered for the LA Lakers and the Raiders. He enjoyed watching football and basketball with his family, fishing, being outdoors, and taking trips to Atlantic City and the beach with his children.

Family was the center of Randy's world. He deeply loved his children, Angel and Darius Butler, and shared a special bond with his mother, Felicia Proctor who was his best friend. He also held close relationships with his father Ray Butler, Sr., his stepfather Oliver Proctor, his brothers Ray Butler and Glenn Proctor, and his best friend and favorite cousin Tironn Marbury. Growing up surrounded by a large, loving family meant everything to him.

Randy leaves to cherish his memory, his children, parents, brothers, his beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends who loved him dearly. He would want everyone to know that he is no longer in pain and that he loves each and every one of you.

Friends may visit with the family Thursday, December 4th from 10 am until time of memorial service at 11 am in The Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, 3439 Livingston Road Indian Head, MD 20640.
