Ramona Willete (Johnson) Diggs, 64, of Welcome, Maryland.

Ramona Willete Johnson-Diggs closed her eyes to eternal rest on September 9, 2021. Ramona, known to most as "Fee," was born on October 10, 1956 in LaPlata, Maryland.

Fee received her education through the Charles County public school system, graduating from Lackey High School with honors in 1973. She began her career as a Claims Specialist at Blue Cross Blue Shield in Washington D.C.  Fee continued her career at Verizon as a Master Scheduler and advanced her way up to Manager of Employee Relations. She retired from Verizon after 31 years of service in October 2012. Fee received many awards and accolades during her career. She also served as a notary for many years.

Fee accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at the Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Nanjemoy, Maryland.
She met and later married the man of her dreams, Tyrone E. Diggs on July 14, 1990. They were truly devoted to each other. Fee enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, Kierra and Kayla as well as her many family members and friends. She was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan. Fee loved listening to Luther Vandross and the Bee Gee's and of course, she loved trying her luck at the slot machines. Fee would often host cookouts and holiday parties and they were absolutely exquisite. She had a passion for event planning; her favorite event was planning weddings. She planned all of her sibling's weddings and they were all planned perfectly!

Fee is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin A. Johnson, Shirley May Posey and her goddaughter, Shaneka Hawkins.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her devoted husband, Tyrone E. Diggs; two children, Sharonda Posey (Stephen) and Ronnie Carlos Johnson (Octavia); four grandchildren, Kierra and Kayla Posey and Zacari and Aaron Johnson; a special aunt, Delores Keys; four brothers, Alvin Johnson (Theresa), Jason Johnson, Rydell Keys and Donnie Johnson (Dottie); six sisters, Cynthia Hawkins (Warren), Anna Johnson-Yeargins (James), Erica Johnson, Gale Aukard (Michael), Sheila Willis and Monica Wood (Ronnie), a stepdaughter, Trynika Diggs-Hailes; four brothers-in-law, Preston Diggs, Arthur Diggs (Kim), Earl Diggs (Linda), Llois Butler (Patricia); a sister-in-law, Marita Diggs; six very special nieces, Terrica Johnson, Devona Mitchell, Tineisha Hawkins, Khadijah Johnson, Taqweila Reed and Janae Johnson; a goddaughter, Cranita Jordan; three nephews, Jonathan Willey, Cranston Jordan, and Jason Quincy Johnson; and a host of other extended family and friends.
