Peggy was, the seventh child of nine, born to the late Nina Victoria Brown Carson and the late Junior Carson on December 11, 1938 in Galax, Virginia. She attended school in Arvonia, Virginia. She was employed by the Department of Labor in Washington D.C. for many years until retiring. She was also the owner of Peggy's Ceramic Shop where she enjoyed making ceramic fixtures. She was also a beautician in her younger years.
Peggy loved the Lord and she served Him in the capacity of Deaconess at the Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Oxon Hill, Maryland. She was also dedicated to the Church and you could always look forward to seeing her on the second pew every Sunday morning dressed to the nine.
She departed this life on September 3, 2017 at Fort Washington Hospital, Fort Washington, Maryland.
Left to cherish her memory, son John Miller, of Oxon Hill, MD, sisters Agnes Stovall, of Bremo Bluff VA, Hazel Holiday, of Galax VA, brothers Paul Carson, of Richmond VA, David King, of Richmond VA, George Odell King, of New Canton VA, grandchildren Devin, Candice, Marcus, great grandchildren Kelly, Genesis, Gionni and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by husbands, John Miller and David Jones, sons Daniel Miller, Robert Miller, Dennis Miller, brothers June Carson, Samuel Carson, and sister Naomi Cooper.
