Paul Christopher (Chris) Johnson Sr., 38, of La Plata, MD suddenly departed from this life on Sunday, May 4, 2008, at home. He was born on January 14, 1970 in LaPlata, MD to Shirley A. and Herman P. Johnson.

Being an only child and son, he was greatly loved and cherished. He was a loving father and friend. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and detailing cars. Chris enjoyed life to its fullest; fixing computers, cookouts, and vacationing with family and friends. He was always willing to help others without being asked and always the last to ask for anything for himself. He was a graduate of Maurice J. McDonough High School and was employed as a Computer Specialist with Computer Science Corporation, Superlative Technology.

In addition to his parents, Shirley and Herman, also left to cherish many fond memories are his children Kayla and Paul Johnson, Jr., fiancé, Julie Harris and her daughter Corissa Slattery. Lovingly cared for are Kyna Wells, Timothy & Zachia Greenfield, and a host of family and many friends.

His viewing, will be held on Saturday, May 10th, 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00am, St. Joseph?s Church, Pomfret, MD. Interment Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Jenifer Jr., Darrell Mahoney, Marco Proctor, Rodney Smoot, Joseph, Swann, and Shawn Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be John L. Chesley, Jr., Tobias Cooper, John Harley, Calvin Hickerson, John Harley, Joby Keokuk, and Shawn Proctor.
