Patricia Darlene Jackson

Patricia Darlene Jackson was born on August 9,1959 in King George County, VA. She was the second child of the late Floyd and Polly Johnson. Patricia accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age, and was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church in King George County, Virginia. She received her education in the King George County Public school system.

On April 20, 1991 she married Thomas E. Jackson; together they had one son and she was blessed with a bonus daughter. Patricia spent the majority of her career working in the hospitality industry before retiring in 2019.In her leisure time, she enjoyed singing, dancing, playing cards, listening to music and spending time with family friends and watching her beloved Cowboys play.

Patricia closed her loving eyes peacefully on Monday, May 4,2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Polly Johnson, husband, Thomas E. Jackson, brother, Floyd Johnson Jr.,and sisters, Erica Johnson and Verlette Davis.

She leaves to cherish her memory one loving son Thomas R. Johnson of Milford, VA, one daughter Naomi Fortune of King George, VA; three grandchildren, Keith, Jayden, and Jeremiah; three great grandchildren Nolayah, Niyonni and Kijani; two sisters Cheryl (Alfonso) Ellis of The Villages,FL, and Martha Johnson of Accokeek, MD; and a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins and one special friend Joyce Johnson.

Friends may visit with the family Saturday, May 16th from 9:00 am until time of funeral service at 10:00 am in The Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, 3439 Livingston Road Indian Head, MD 20640. Interment private.
