Obituary
Odelee Homer "Lee" Majors was born January 28, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of the late Odell Majors and Edith Minor Majors. On Friday, January 8, 2021, Lee was called home to be with the Lord.
Lee accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He often spoke of attending church with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William and Edith Bayles Majors.
Lee married the love of his life, Annie Shaw, in 1977.
He graduated from DeVry University in Decatur, Georgia with a degree in Electronic and Computer Technology, and he loved everything "computer". He also loved photography, fishing, long drives, playing chess, dominoes and racquetball.
Lee was a "people person". He lived a full life, loved and befriended many. He lived a portion of his life in the West African Countries of Ghana and Togo. He served his Country in the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Andrea Lee "Misty" Majors.
Lee is survived by his wife, Annie Shaw Majors; daughters, Edith A. Majors and Suad Asselin; granddaughter, Z'hara Majors, and his great grandson, Levi Majors; grandson, Cameron Shaw; siblings, William Majors, Beverly Majors, Adrian Majors, Sande Grant, James "Herkey" Bryson and Robyne Majors; and an aunt Maxine Green.
Viewing, Monday, February 1, 2021 at 10:45a.m. until time of Service 11:15a.m. in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Interment, 1:30p.m., Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Virginia.
