Obituary
Noah Jordan Stewart was born at the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December 18, 1999. He was the most beloved and beautiful son of Lonnell Cecil Stewart and Yvette Denise Banks. Noah fell asleep in the loving and strong arms of our Heavenly Father at the Hospice of the Chesapeake – Mandarin Inpatient Care Center in Harwood, MD at 7:25 pm on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. His devoted mother Yvette and his stepfather Roger Tyrone Banks were at his bedside when he received his greatest promotion from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
During his brief journey on Earth, Noah touched the many people that he met with his keen curiosity, remarkably high intelligence and quick wit humor. He enjoyed listening to rock music, traveling and visiting with his relatives, playing computer games, anime, watching television and eating out when he could. Noah loved pizza, chicken tenders, peanut butter pretzels and Chinese food, especially orange chicken and rangoons. His favorite shows to watch were the Simpsons, American Dad and Family Guy.
Noah was blessed with the most beautiful gift of song. He did not sing often but when he did, he sang like an angel from God. Noah also enjoyed learning and playing different types of instruments during his childhood. He played the piano, clarinet and the viola.
Noah attended and graduated from the Lloyd C. Bird High School in Chesterfield, VA on June 7, 2018. He planned to enter the United States Air Force shortly after graduation but due to his declining health he was unable to serve his country. It was at this time, Noah moved to Maryland to be closer to his mother so that she could help care for him.
Noah never gave up on his future endeavors and enrolled in the Computer Networks and Cybersecurity program at the University of Maryland – University College in the spring of 2019. Noah also worked for the Home Depot as a flooring and walls sales associate until the physical demands of the job became too challenging.
Noah is survived by mother, Yvette Denise Banks (Roger) of Accokeek, MD; father, Lonnell Cecil Stewart of North Chesterfield, VA; sister, Summer Imani Stewart of Accokeek, MD; brother, Edward Ronald Wilds Jr. of Rochester, NY; aunt, Mrs. Sheila Clarissa (Raytheon) Jackson of Orlando, FL; uncle, Dwayne Leon Jones of Orlando, FL; uncle, Gregory Edward Jones of Amityville, NY; uncle, Troy L.
