NICHOLAS DURAN LEONARD (AGE 39) OF SUITLAND, MARYLAND

We celebrate the life of our beloved father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Nicholas Duran Leonard, known as "Nick" transitioned on Monday, March 19, 2018, to eternal rest.

Nick was born on December 7, 1978, in Cheverly Maryland, (Prince Georges County). He was the youngest of six siblings and he was a fun-loving child. As he grew up this did not change, he was a sincere, loving, and non-judgmental person who was always smiling and giving to people. He would give people his last if they needed it.

Nick loved simple things like spending time with his daughter, Nikiah, family gatherings, and wrestling with his niece Zariah and nephews Ziggy and Zameer.  He enjoyed hip-hop music and had a couple of gospel favorites – "Won't He Do It" and "Nobody Greater".  He also got a kick out of borrowing $20 every other week from his niece, Denisha, promising to pay it back on the 1 ^st .  Nick enjoyed life and being free-spirited!

The most joyous moments in Nick's life was when he was with his daughter, family, and fiancé Monique. These were the moments he cherished the most in his day-to-day life. He loved family and friends, but "Nikiah and Monique" were the center of his joy!

Nick was preceded in death by Alvin Leonard, Jr. (brother). He leaves to cherish his fond memories:  Nikiah Aleecia Leonard (daughter); Denise Leonard and Alvin T.  Leonard, Sr. (mother and father); Dorothy Pinkney (grandmother); Arron and Jason Pinkney, Anthony and Carlos Leonard (brothers); Monique Richardson (fiancé); Nikki Pinkney and Tibia Leonard (Sister-in-laws); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

His Viewing will be 9:00 am until time of Service, 11:00 am, Monday, April 2, 2018 at Victory Christian Ministries, International, Charles County, 4415 Crain Highway, White Plains, Maryland 20695.
