NAOMIA CAPITOLA BROOKE (AGE 84) OF WHITE PLAINS, MARYLAND

On Sunday, February 2, 2020, at 6:00 am, following a long illness, Naomia Capitola Brooke, 84, formerly of Beckley, West Virginia, peacefully transitioned to eternal life.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and above all, outstanding woman.  Born August 24, 1935 in Beckley, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Thelma M. Phillips and William C. Hyde and granddaughter of Charles G. Tolliver and Nellie Isabella Williams Tolliver.

Naomia was predeceased by daughter, Vicky Gayle Brooke.

She is survived by sons, John R. Hyde, Jerry D. Brooke and William J. Haner; daughters, Tina L. Malone and Angela M. Brooke; grandchildren, Shaun Duk, Jamie Malone, Amber Malone, Matthew Hyde, Jeremy Thodos, Shana Malone, Jonathan Brooke, Sabrina Brooke, Wendolyn Haner, Benjamin Haner and Randall Haner; great grandchildren, Kyle Malone, Jasmine Wynt, Zoe Malone and Lalya Malone.

Her Viewing will be, 4:00 pm, until time of Service, 5:00 pm, Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.  Interment, 1:00 pm, Friday, February, 7, 2020, Sunset Memorial Park, 1925 Harper Road, Beckley, West Virginia 25801.
