Obituary

Michael McDaniel Key, Jr. "Mike Mike" was born, August 21, 1987 in La Plata, Maryland to Michael M. Key, Sr. and Pamela Key. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 2, 2017.

Michael received his education in the Charles County Public School System, where he was always the class clown. Mike Mike as he was affectionately known, was a happy, crazy, easy going person. He worked with his father Michael Sr. as a laborer. He loved to have a few drinks with friends and family, while listening to his "oldie but goodies". He loved to ride dirt bikes and atv's. He liked to work on things as well.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Key Sr., Geraldine Key, William Thompson and Juanita Thompson; aunts, Robin Bowman and Lisa Proctor-Brooks and uncle, Edward Key.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his parents, Michael and Pamela Key; son, Maleek Dorsey Key; sisters, Ashley Bradley and Melanie Hawkins; brothers, Delontae Fleming and John Ruff; brothers-in- law, Jason and David; a special loved one, Ashley Lyles; four nieces, two nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

His visitation will be 11:00 am until time of service, 12:00 noon, Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A.
