Johnson, Michael Everett (Age 54) of Cumberland, Maryland formerly of La Plata, Maryland.

On Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Thomas B. Finan Center in Cumberland, Maryland, Michael Everett Johnson, more affectionately called Everett transitioned to eternal life.

He is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Johnson. He is survived by three brothers, James (Chucky), Eric (Ricky) and Marc Johnson, four sisters, Adrianne Slater, Andrea Thomas, Michelle Yvette Willett, and Yvonne Johnson, four nephews, Sean Thomas (Sonya), Thomas (Tony) Slater, Jr. (Kia), Keith (Kip) Battle (Summer), and James Willett, Jr., three nieces, Juanita Green (Jason), Tecora Stephens and T'Aira Slater, five great nephews, Justin Alston, Thomas Slater III, Keith (Xavier) Battle, Kharson McCall and Jason (Myles) Green, five great nieces, Tamia Slater, Jessica Thomas, Jada and Jamya Green and Kassidy Slater. He is also survived by two brother-in-laws, Thomas Slater, Sr. and James Willett, Sr., one uncle Nolan Williams, 3 aunts, Velma Milburn, Lillian Jones and Mary Williams, 2 great aunts, Pearl Jackson and Odelle Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from 10am until time of Service, 11am at Christ Church, La Plata, Maryland. Interment, Mt. Rest Cemetery, La Plata, Maryland.
