Mary Patricia Green, 68, of Oxon Hill, Maryland

On Saturday, October 8, 2022, Mary Patricia Green, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend went home to be with the Lord.

Patsy, as she was affectionately known, was born to the late John and Agnes Proctor on July 1, 1954 in Washington, DC.  She was raised in Charles County Maryland and educated in the Charles County public school system.

Patsy lived, worked and raised her family in Charles County before relocating to Prince Georges County, Maryland.

Living in Prince George's County, Patsy was always on the go…she never stood still.  She was always going here, going there, running errands, picking up or dropping someone off or going to the store.  She had a passion for decorating, shopping and browsing in and out of Thrift stores.

Patsy loved her family.  She was always there for everyone and every type of support.  All the family gatherings, phone calls and weekend visits were very dear to her.

Patsy was preceded in death by her son, Marvin "Tony" Green, parents, John and Agnes Proctor, brothers, Ronald Gray and John "Pernell" Proctor.

Patsy leaves to cherish her memories one son, Antonio "Mikie" Green; six grandsons, Eric, Montrell, Marquise, Demonte, Antonio Green, Jr. and DeAndre Edelen, three brothers: Sirron (Gloria) Proctor, Alfred (Laura) Proctor and Roger Proctor, sister-in-law, Shelia Proctor, one aunt, Delores Wills and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and special friends, far too many to name.

We all are left with memories of times filled with love, laughter, good conversations, family gatherings and just sharing the beautiful essence of this life.

Viewing, 10:00 a.m., until time of service, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Interment, Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
