Brown, Mary Elizabeth Gant (Age 61) of Brandywine, Maryland.

Mary Elizabeth Brown (Liz), age 61 of Charles County, Maryland, passed away April 16, 2013 in Waldorf, Maryland.

Liz was born in Charles County, Md. to the late William Barber and Elsie Gant on December 21, 1951. She attended Laplata High School, in Charles County Maryland and graduated in 1952. She went on to work for the Federal Government, Alcohol Tabaco and Firearms (ATF) agency, and later joined the United States Postal Service where she retired as an Administrative Assistant in 2006.

Liz is survived by her only child, Pamela M. Brown and her three grandchildren Edward Q. Love, III, MaKai and MaKayla Stevens.

She is also survived by her sisters Diane, Clara, JoAnne and brothers Alton and Arthur, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Waldorf Hospice Care Center, in Charles County, Maryland for their support in her final days.
