Mary Genevieve Bailey (Age 92) of Waldorf, Maryland.

Mary Genevieve Bailey, affectionately known as "Faye," quietly closed her eyes on Monday August 5, 2019 and went home to be with the Lord.  Genevieve was born on September 30, 1926 in Tompkinsville, Maryland to the late Charles Henry Fowler, Sr. and Mary Agnes Hill-Fowler.

Genevieve attended Charles County public schools. Genevieve was employed by various restaurants in the local area.

Genevieve enjoyed being around people, including her doll "Shirley."   She was often the life of the party and also enjoyed attending church, dancing, citing poems, singing and listening to gospel music.

She leaves to cherish her memories, son, James (Butch), one sister, Margaret Newton, one brother-in-law, Leo Butler and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Fowler, three sisters, Ernestine Butler, Hilda Woods, Beatrice Fowler-Alston and two brothers, Raymond and Charles Fowler.

Her Viewing will be, 10:00 am, until time of Service, 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Shiloh Community United Methodist Church, 12695 Shiloh Church Road, Newburg, Maryland 20664.  Interment, church cemetery.
