Marion Yolande Ford was born in Cheverly, Maryland on July 2, 1968 to the late Alvin Davis, Sr. and the late Margaret Brown. On Monday, June 20, 2011, Marion quietly entered into eternal rest at her home in Suitland, MD.

Marion grew up in Prince Georges County and completed her education in public schools within the County. She graduated from Duval High School in 1989. She later attended Sandford Brown University to become a medical assistant. However, due to health issues, she was unable to complete her studies.

Marion, who was also known as Londa, was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, as well as other family members and friends. She was a very loving and respectful person that would do anything for her family. Londa and her family would often watch various sporting events together and she was a true Redskin fan.

In addition to her parents, Londa was preceded in death by a host of other relatives.

Left to cherish many memories are her children, Denandra, Margaret and Jessey, seven grandchildren, Erique, Zykwon, Tykerra, Shy'Kria, Joshua, and Harmony, two sisters, Yvonne and Patricia, brother, James, four nieces, Domonique, Shamika, Tottiana and Sabrina, two nephews, Kelvin and Stephen, and a host of other relatives and friends including a special friend, Rashma Lewis.

Her viewing will be held on Thursday, June 30th, 10:00am until time of services 11:00am, at Fort Foote Baptist Church, 8310 Fort Foote Road, Fort Washington, MD. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.
