Margaret Hester (Thompson) Swann, 81 of La Plata, Maryland.

On Friday, August 7, 2020 at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C.,  Margaret H. Swann more affectionately called Hester, transitioned to eternal life.

Hester leaves to cherish beautiful memories with her beloved husband, Louis Swann; three daughters, Carolyn "Diane" Rock (Thomas), Sonya Roxane Henry (Reginald) and Adrienne Lena Swann Watson (Wayne); four sons, Dale Patrick, Derek "Tim", Darryl Rodney (Marjorie) and Scott Alexander Swann; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.

Viewing, 8:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 17, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.  Interment, Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
