On Friday, February 16, 2018, Lowell Julian Atlee, more affectionately known as "Sonny," quietly transitioned from this life to one eternal while at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, Charlotte Hall, Maryland.
His viewing will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 10am until time of service 11am in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Interment, Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland.
