Obituary

Louise Jill Jordan, 61 of White Plains, Maryland departed this life on Monday, September 9, 2024. Louise was born February 24,1963 in Washington DC. She was the daughter of Cecil C. Jordan (deceased) and Louise Roberta (Spriggs) Jordan. She is preceded in death by her father Cecil, paternal grand-parents Wesley and Estelle Jordan and maternal grandparents George and Marguriete Spriggs.

Louise was educated in the Charles County Public School system in Maryland. In her lifetime, Louise had several occupations. They included bus driver for both the school system and chartered companies. Along with retail clerk, care giver and Childcare provider. Many had came to rely on her service as an "Uber Driver" which she had gladly accommodated. She was a member of Sacred Heart Ladies Auxiliary #301of La Plata, Maryland since 2019.

To many, Louise was affectionately known as Weezie. (Especially by her nieces and nephews).

She, like her father was a supporter of the football team formally known as the Redskins now Commanders through thick and thin. Things you may not have known about her is that in her quiet times she enjoyed doodling, color-ing, solving Sudoku or assembling puzzles. She was
very creative when it came to sewing (making quilts and other items by hand) and blessing others with them. When she had the opportunity, you would have found her fishing. When it came to music, there was no secret that she preferred listening to Oldies but Goodies and Gospel
tunes. She was passionate about the movie Color Purple, therefore watching it repeatedly. Her favorite color was purple. Louise enjoyed spending time at the Casino.

Louise leaves to cherish her loving memory, siblings and inlaws: Agnes "Pat" Washington (Coleman), Curtis Jordan, Francine Jordan (Lawerence), Cecil "Carlton" Jordan (Barbara), Hilda Riley (Robert), Phyllis Headd (Gary), Eliza-beth Robinson (Paul) and Cranston Jordan
(Pam). In addition to her siblings she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great -great niece and great -great nephew that love her dearly and each shared their own unique relationship with her. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, relatives
and friends. While she may not have had children of her own, she certainly was there for her sibling's children.
