Louis S. Jenifer, 86, of San Ramon, California and Fort Washington, Maryland.
Louis Summer Jenifer, more affectionately called "Chic" was born, September 6, 1932 in Washington, D.C. to Louis Hamilton and Clarice Marie (Chapman) Jenifer.
He graduated from Pomonkey High School in Pomonkey, Maryland and was drafted out of high school, April 10, 1951 to serve in the United States Army, during the Korean War. Louis was honorably discharged, April 1, 1953 with the rank of Private First Class. He worked with the Postal Service as a Mechanic and retired after 35 years of service.
Louis met and married Mary Elizabeth Carter.
On Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Walnut Creek, California, Louis Summer Jenifer, transitioned to eternal life.
He leaves his beloved wife, Mary, children and a host of family and friends to cherish fond memories.

Quiet hour, Monday, June 10, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Palma Ceia Baptist Church, 28605 Ruus Road, Hayward CA 94544.
