Obituary

BELL, LATISSA YVETTE (AGE 58) OF PORT TOBACCO, MARYLAND

Latissa "Tissa," was born on December 11, 1962 in Plant City (Bealsville), Florida to Clearence Young and Bessie Broadnax.

She received her education in Hilllsborough County Public School System and graduated from Plant City High School Class of 1980.  After High School, she attended University of Tampa.

She confessed Christ at an early age and attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and Sunday School in Bealsville, FL.  Later in life,  her husband started a church in Port Tobacco, Maryland called the Church of Philadelphia at Port Tabacco, where she was First Lady.

Growing up Tissa had a voracious love for reading books and newpapers. In addition, she enjoyed home interior, fashion and family (especially her grandkids). Her love for Christmas led to be some of her most fondest memories.

Tissa met the love of her life Lamonica in Tampa, Fl.  They married in 1990 while Lamonica was active duty United States Air Force, and they traveled to many places and settled in Port Tobacco, Maryland where they would spend the majority of their lives living their best life with their kids and grandkids in love.

Tissa was employed at Wilkes Artis Law Firm for over 30 years as a Legal Secretary. She loved working there where the people were not just coworkers,  they became family.

Tissa is preceded in death by her father Clarence Young, her grandparents Ernest and Leola Wade. Her Uncle Willie Gus, Aunt Ethel, and Uncle Napoleon (Nae) Wade. As well as her second grandmother Mary Thomas.

Tissa leaves behind her loving husband Lamonica and their children Veronique (Donmaine), Chavalier, Edward "Mario", and Monica.  Her mother Bessie, sisters Sylvia (John), Anitra, and Sonya.  Her grandchildren Jalen, Jaide, Jordan, Jamier, Jamarion, Jayla, Jasmyne, Jaylin, Adrian, August, and Aryn.  And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
