Obituary

STRINGER, LATISHA RENEE (AGE 35) OF WALDORF, MARYLAND

On November 5th, 2015 God extended his almighty arms of love and gently took Latisha Stringer home. Latisha was born on August 22, 1980 at Greater Southeast Community Hospital to Valerie Virginia Stringer. She received her education in Prince Georges County Public Schools system by attending: Elementary; Henry G Ferguson, Middle: Gwynn Park Middle School and High School; Gwynn Park High where she graduated from in 1998. Latisha was baptized and confessed her faith in God at an early age attending different churches to receive his holy word.

For the past 11 years Latisha worked for DaVita Dialysis in Seat Pleasant, MD as a Dialysis Technician. She loved her job, coworkers and most of all, the many patients she cared for throughout the years. Latisha had a divine calling to care for others and had aspirations to become a Flight-Medic.

She was always the life of any environment and never let her illness slow her down or dictate how she would live her life. This was proven when she decided she wanted to become a biker and ventured out on her own, got her motorcycle license and bought a motorcycle. Latisha was the Vice President of Sistas Inc. Motorcycle Club, where she went by her childhood name "Rocco" and rode her Suzuki GSX-R 600 named Stanley. Rocco truly upheld the clubs motto "My Sisters Keeper" and showed it throughout the motorcycle community to both male and female counterparts by doing what is affectionately known to bikers as "showing love". You always knew when her little 5 foot 2 inch frame entered the building when you heard her shout her favorite saying "Say It Ain't So!" then see that big smile pop out from almost anywhere in the room.

Latisha whom also went by the name "Toot" to her mother and other family members, was very devoted to the people she cared about and if you ever needed her, without a doubt she was there. She was a TRUE Queen of Social networking and texting, and would constantly be on her phone checking up on others. Even after working a 16 hour shift, she'd still manage to call 6 people, text 20 people, in box 4 people, hold a text conversation with her nephew TJ, bug her sister Robin at work 3 times, check on her mother 8 times, swing past her grandparent's house to check on them, play with her god daughter Layla, give Catt and Alicia an earful on the phone, pick up dinner and come home to sit with her mother to laugh and talk before showering and going to bed so she could do it all again the next day. She LOVED life and lived it to the fullest!

Latisha leaves to cherish fond memories; a devoted mother; Valerie Stringer, Sister; Robin McCauley (Terrence), nephew; Terrence McCauley, Jr., Grandparents; Theodore and Louise Stringer, Uncles; David and Rodney Stringer (Kim), Aunts; Charlene Taylor (Vincent), Theodora Stringer and Darline Dean ( David ) and a host of cousins and close friends. Though Latisha embraced everyone she touched, she also leaves to cherish her memories special friends; Alicia Swann, Latisha Knott (Catt), Danny Smith (Danny Boy), Lawrence Johnson and James Lyles (Snook). She is preceded in death by her Aunt Twanna Stringer, Great Grandmother Madeline Gladden and Uncle David Dean.
