Larry found joy in life’s simple pleasures. As a child he enjoyed riding bicycles with his siblings, playing cards on weekends, and spending quality time with his family. He had a passion for working on cars, often alongside his brother James (Jay), and played an instrumental role in helping his brother Robert (TD) build a landscaping business—working side by side and creating lasting memories.
He also enjoyed time at the racetrack at Budd’s Creek and cherished family gatherings. Larry was known as an early riser, often calling loved ones as early as 7 a.m. with a cheerful “Good morning,” simply to brighten their day. His thoughtful nature and unique sense of affection made him unforgettable. He was especially known for giving family members nicknames—each one personal and filled with love.
Larry enjoyed watching football and his favorite shows, including Street Outlaws, and had a love for good food—especially fried chicken! He was educated in the Charles County Public School system and carried a strong work ethic throughout his life.
Larry will be remembered for his warm spirit, his humor, his deep love for family, and the joy he brought into every room. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and connection will live on forever.
