Turner, Larnel Xavier (Age 60) of Waldorf, Maryland

Larnel Xavier Turner, 60 of Bel Alton, Maryland transitioned to external life on Thursday January 07, 2021 while at the Baltimore Shock Trauma University of Maryland Hospital. He was born on January 12, 1960 to Shirley Ann Duckett and Nathaniel White. He was known to his family and close friends as "LT."  He was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and would talk about the Goodness of God and witnessed to everyone he met. He worked several jobs and finally retired with over 15 years of service from Food Lion. Larnel graduated from Charles County Public School, where he played football, trumpet in the school band and sang in the school choir. He had a passion for music. Larnel played in several bands, he loved to sing and play his trumpet. He also loved to talk to his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Turner, grandmother Mary Turner, aunt Helen Turner, brothers, Donald and Tyrone Turner, and sister Sheilah Duckett.

Larnel is survived by his mother Shirley, three sisters Melody, Cheryl and Angela (Charles), two brothers Wayne Sr. (Janice), and Joseph (Tabitha), Godson Trevon and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

His viewing will be held from 10am until time of service 11am, Saturday, January 16, 2021, Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.
