Lacy Stanley McCants (83) of Waldorf, Maryland.

Lacy Stanley McCants peacefully transitioned in to eternal life on February 13, 2019 at the Waldorf Genesis Nursing Home in Charles County, Maryland.

Lacy Stanley McCants was born on February 21, 1935 to the late Timothy and Josephine (Wineglass) McCants of Georgetown, South Carolina. He was the youngest of seven children.  His Siblings Peter, Howard, Jim, Nellie, Sue and Rena all preceded him in death.

Lacy left home at an early age and settled in Washington, DC., where he found employment with the Fairfax County Public School System for 30 plus years.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing cards and watching the Redskins.

He leaves a host of nieces, nephews; great nieces, great nephews; caretaker Audrey Newman and friends.
