Keith Wylie Redding (Age 59) of Fort Washington, Maryland
Keith W. Redding was born September 17, 1960 in Washington, DC, the first of three children born to the late Wylie Louis Redding and Thelma Faye Redding. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at George Washington University Hospital, Washington, District of Columbia.
Keith attended McKinley Tech High School in Washington, DC., 1975 - 1979, he received an athletic scholarship to the University of the District of Columbia. Keith decided to advance his professional career before completing his final year of college and later and earned a bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Information & Systems Science from University of the District of Columbia, December 2000.
Keith worked for Cable and Wireless Communications (CWC) as a Programmer/Analyst, October 1985 until February 1989. He worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a Senior Systems Analyst from February 1989 until June 1992, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) (MSI/NRC), Task Leader/Project Manager/Sr. Member of Technical Staff from July 1992 until January 2000, FBI (Allied Technology Group, ATG) Sr. Systems Analyst/Technical Lead, FBI (GLOTECH, Inc) Senior Software Engineer from October 2005 until May 2015, FBI (Technical Corporation) Sr. Natural/ADABA S Developer, FBI (Leido/Lockheed Martin) Software Engineer from February 2017 until November 2019 and Operations Lead and Deputy Program from December 2017 until March 2020.
Keith attended Fort Foote Baptist Church and became a member of the motorcycle club, Saints of Thunder. He also served in the Men's Ministry. Keith was a true man of God who loved the Lord and loved serving His people.
In 2008, Keith met Dana Nash and they married June 11, 2010. They enjoyed wonderful times together riding their motorcycles, attending family gatherings, traveling, and several other special interests. We will remember Keith as a God-fearing man. A devoted husband, adoring father, grandfather, and an attentive listener. He loved to laugh and is known for renaming friends he encountered the first time with his own nickname. He loved life, put family first, he would remember names/details from an initial meeting, and enjoyed auto mechanics.
Keith was greeted at heaven's gate by his parents, Wylie and Thelma Redding, mother in law, Shirley Nash and sister, Gail Redding.
He leaves to mourn: Wife, Dana Redding, one child, Krystal Redding Cooper (Jared) of Alfred, New York., two grandchildren, Janelle and Elijah, mother-in-Law, Lorraine Spinner Howard of Clifton Forge, Virginia, sister, Deirdre Redding, brother-in-law, Zachery Spinner of Miami, Florida, sister-in-law, Erica Lynn Turner (Junie) of Rincon, Georgia, brother in law, Lawrence Nash and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
