Love, Kamany Donnell (Age 14) of Clinton, Maryland.
On May 27, 2013 the Lord called upon one of his angels Kamany Donnell Love to come home. Kamany (Mony) was born to Donnell Love and Toykia Keys at Providence Hospital on July 26, 1998, and received his baptism into the Christian faith as an infant. Kamany was an 8th grade student at Isaac Gourdine Middle School. Kamany was looking forward to the close of this school year, and becoming freshmen at Friendly High School. As a Friendly Patriot, it was his goal to play Junior Varsity Football. Football was definitely Mony's game. Once he played for the Fort Washington Cannons Football Team he never looked back.
Mony was not only a football player, but he was a lover of music from the time he was a baby. He taught himself how to work and record music. Mony developed his own beats and began to write his own lyrics. He named himself "Super Sonic Snip", developed the group "Baby Glush Bros (which was inspired by his friend lil B) and mixed his first CD "Snipe the Savage."
Around the neighborhood Tantallon (T-Town) he was known as "lil Mony". He loved going around the neighborhood chilling with his friends Andrew, Demitris, Kobe and "Yung Danger Boyz.
Kamany greatest love was for his parents. They truly made him into the young man he became. Like his parents, Mony took pride in his appearance. Mony's hair was always well maintained; he made sure his dad gave him a fresh hair cut every week. When he was done he would look at his cut and say "swag." To his mom, Mony was her lil man – protecting her from other men and blocking out anyone or anything that tried to interfere with their connection. They loved having fun and shopping. After a shopping spree Mony would come home and show off all his new clothes. Mony equally cherished his dad and their relationship. They were more than father and son but dad was his best friend. They went everywhere and did everything together. Tekie and Donnell (Fino) introduced Mony to sports and music. Donnell was the man in Mony's life whom he looked up to. Fino and Tekie were great parents who showered their son with unconditional love.
Kamany will be truly missed and his memories will be cherished by his Father – Donnell Love, His Grandparents with whom he developed a close bond with, Diana Longworth, John and Poopie Keys, Great Grandparents Beatrice Blake and Inez Keys Butler, special friend Brianna Banks, uncles, aunts, cousins a host of friends.
Visitation, 9am until time of Service 11am, Monday, June 3, 2013 at Westphalia United Methodist Church, 9363 D'Arcy Road, Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, Maryland.
