Obituary

ISAACS-MCCLAIN, JUSTIN A. (AGE 17) OF TEMPLE HILLS, MD

Justin Antoney Isaacs-McClain was born in Washington DC on February 18, 1994 to Jackie Isaacs and Toney McClain. He was granted his angel wings on October 10, 2011.

Justin attended Oxon Hill Middle School, Oxon Hill High School, Friendly High School and recently went on to Potomac High School.

Justin's life seems too short to many, but for those who were touched by him, understood that the quality of his existence exceeded the quantity of time in which he lived it. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and though he was often times quiet, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. Justin was interested in all sports. He started wrestling at the age of four years old where he won many championships; he played basketball in middle school and played football in high school. He also played on many AAU basketball teams. Of all the sports he played, his passion was basketball and he had hopes of playing college basketball.

He spent his summer vacations in Miami where he loved to go fishing with his grandparents and their friends. He also enjoyed cooking and desired to become a Top Chef. In addition, he enjoyed being in the All or Nothing band where he was the lead mic.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Jackie Isaacs and Toney McClain; his sisters, Melissa and Toneysha; grandparents, Beryl Isaacs, Lottie Page, Effice McClain; aunts, Mary Law (George), Linda McClain, Joanna Lane (Ronnie), Jackie, Ora Lee and Patty Isaacs; uncles, Trevor Isaacs (Judy), Effice McClain, Willie Williams, and Kelvin McClain; a host of cousins, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his aunt, the late Diane McClain.

Justin touched many people throughout his short yet very memorable life. His passing reminds others that his life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss him every day, especially his winning smile, he will always remain forever in our hearts.

"Sleep on beloved, sleep and take your rest. Lay down your
head upon your Savior's breast. We love you well,
but Jesus loves you best."

His viewing will be held on Friday, October 21st from 10am until time of service 11am at Fort Foote Baptist Church, 8310 Fort Foote Road, Fort Washington, MD 20744. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.

Arrangements entrusted to Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., Indian Head, MD 20640.
