JUNE ROBERTA GREEN (AGE 70) OF PARKVILLE, MARYLAND

On Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Towson, Maryland, June Green peacefully transitioned to eternal life.

June Roberta Green (Proctor) was born on June 29, 1949 to the late Phillip Sterling Proctor and Mae Edith Proctor (Thompson) of Brandywine, MD and departed this life on February 5, 2020.  June was educated in the Charles County public school system and she worked in Prince George County & Baltimore County, Md.  She lived in Landover, Md. but most of all June liked being around her family and friends.  June met and married the love of her life, Andrew William Green Sr.  They were married for 54 years and from that union they had four children: Mary Ann Chase (Philip), Andrew William Green Jr. (Deborah), Charles Rodney Green and Glory Roberta Mayers (Dartanion).  Later in life June and Andy moved to Baltimore, Md. and they were happy living there.

June was preceeded in death by both parents and two sisters:  Gloria Mae & Joyce Marie Proctor, brother: Phillip Sterling Proctor Jr., mother-in-law: Gertrude Mary Perry, three sister-in-law: Mary "Beatsey" Jones, Patricia "Trece" Robinson and Josephine Perry and two brother-in-law:  Charles Green and Henry Proctor.

June is survived by two sisters: Darlene Proctor (Carlos) and Joan Jones(Buck), two brothers:  George Woodrow Proctor "Woody"(Mary) and Charles Edwin Proctor "Pete"(Sonia), two brother-in-law: Thomas "Tommy" Green (Carolyn) and Ignatius "Nate" Perry Sr. (Mary), three sister-in-law: Barbara Jean Lyles(Bow), Mary "Joyce" Ziglar (Gabriel) and Marie "Helen" Perry and June was blessed with eight grandchildren: Katrina Chase, Shanita Chase(Tyrone), Eugene McDowell, Joseph, Joshua & Tierra Thompson, Tracy Hawkins(Shawnte), Alique Smith(Raymond), eleven great grandchildren and three very special friends: Bethney "Beth" Willey, John Chase and Alice Banks, along with a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, love ones and friends.

Her Viewing will be, 10:00 am, until time of Service, 11:00 am, Thursday, February 13, 2020 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640.  Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735.
