IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Juanita
Mcmillon
March 28, 1943 – September 11, 2024
Today we celebrate and remember the life of Juanita Santiago McMillon. She was born on March 28, 1943 in Puerto Rico. Her family relocated to New York City when Jenny was seven years old.
She was affectionately known by many as "Jenny". Her parent's family and friends affectionately knew her as "Guani".
She was the daughter of the late Mr. Jose Santiago. Her mother Mrs. Leonidas Santiago Torres and extended family currently resides in New York City.
She peacefully transitioned at home from her earthly life to be with the Lord during the early morning hours on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
Jenny met Freddie N. McMillon Sr. of Brooklyn New York in 1962. During his Navy military service they were married in February 1966.
She was the oldest of three children and a member of St. Paul's Church of New York City.
She received her education in the New York City public school system.
In addition to her husband Freddie, Jenny leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories: two daughters, Doreen and Valerie; two sons, Freddie Jr. and Anthony; mother, Leonidas Santiago Torres; sister, Eva Colon and brother, Freddy Torres and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
"God saw the road was getting rough, the hill was hard to climb. He gently closed his weary eyes and whispered "PEACE BE THINE".
