Joyce Ann Wolfe was born on February 17, 1964, to the late Jerome Francis Proctor Sr. and Mary Proctor in Washington DC.

Joyce was an extraordinary woman.  She often talked about how blessed she was to experience so much love throughout her life, especially from her husband the love of her life.  Joyce and Dwayne met while working for Didlake Inc., it was love at first sight.  It didn't take them very long to engage in matrimony.  They were married for 19 years.  Joyce and Dwayne favorite moments were spending quality time together.  Family was everything to Joyce.  They showered their children and grandchildren with unconditional love that had no boundaries.  She remembered birthdays, holidays and special events and would regularly call to check up on family.  She was very close to her two surrogate mothers, aunts Veronica and Doris after the passing of her mother.  There was nothing she enjoyed more than surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, loving In-Laws and friends.  Joyce loved shopping especially at Macys.  She and her best friend Sharon would shop till they dropped.  They often would say to each other with laughter "Feet Don't Fail Me Now".

In addition to her parents, Joyce leaves to cherish loving two aunts, Theresa Keys (John), Barbara Ann Cooper, three uncles, Charles Cooper, William Brown (Denise) and Warren Fountaine.
